Carrozzeria Wheels are made in the USA and are Super Light Weight. Bare Wheel weights average 6.1 lbs for the front and 9.1 lbs for the rear. Ready to install wheel weights average 7.3 lbs for the front and 12.7 lbs for the rear.

Every Carrozzeria wheel is manufactured for fitment without any modifications.
A Carrozzeria wheel typically uses 5 bearings in the rear wheel, where stock only uses 3. Carrozzeria uses a one piece construction for the rear hub assembly, which creates a stronger and more durable wheel. A cush drive system is used that allows for a more comfortable ride, as well as, reduced wear and tear on the transmission, chain, and sprocket.
The production of Carrozzeria Wheels involves many processes to create a wheel of this quality. Made of CNC machined aluminum alloy (AL6151/T6), an aerospace material, each wheel is made to be lightweight and durable for many years of riding enjoyment. The wheels are designed for integrity and strength based on the high quality of the forged aluminum material.
Forging is a process that uses thousands of tons of water pressure to compress the material into occupying a smaller physical area. The end result is that the product is typically much stronger, denser in material and lighter. This process retains the same or even greater amount of strength as that of a billet or cast product. Forging improves the structure of metal by refining the grain size of the metal. This process makes metal stronger and more docile than cast metal. The metal also has a greater resistance to fatigue and impact. Carrozzeria wheels are typically exhibiting up to 1.8 times more strength than other manufactures that use a non-forging process. Carrozzeria Wheels meet the safety standards set by the NHTSA, D.O.T., Japan's JWL, and Europe's TUV. When you compare the Carrozzeria Forged Aluminum Wheels with Magnesium or Carbon Wheels, yes they are lighter, but when you think of your safety and durability, none of them can come close to forged aluminum wheels.
