Description   The Yoshimura EMS (Engine Management System) was developed in AMA Superbike racing starting in 1999 as a way to fine tune modified racing engine fuel injection mapping. As EFI technology has come to quad racing, the same technology that has helped Mat Mladin win six of the last seven Superbike titles is now available to the serious Quad engine builder/tuner. Peripheral Interface Module (PIM): The PIM is a piggyback unit that plugs in as an adjunct to the stock OEM wiring harness. This simple plug-in to the stock harness requires no major modifications; and takes about thirty minutes to install. The PIM comes with (2) pre-programmed fuel maps which optimize fuel delivery for our Yoshimura exhaust systems. Map (a) offers best performance when utilizing the spark arrestor. Map (b) offers maximum machine performance with our race exhaust system. The PIM unit attaches directly on top of the OEM ECU and takes just a few minutes to install. Round out this kit with a Cherry Bomb and EMS Fuel Injection Map Adjuster Kit (FIMAK), which is sold separately and listed as an accessory to this product!
