Marchesini 17-inch Forged Aluminum Wheels for the R1! Marchesini forged aluminum wheels are 25% lighter* than most factory wheels, which reduces unsprung weight in your bikes suspension.  Reducing unsprung weight enables your suspension to react faster and more accurately resulting in increased traction.  Reduction in unsprung weight is "effectively" equivalent to 4 times that of reducing the overall (sprung) weight of the bike; hence it's 4 times more important! These super-stiff forged aluminum wheels offer increased torsional and lateral strength compared to the cast aluminum factory wheel.
