Description   NEW! Termignoni Stainless Steel Y-Pipe for your R1 Termignoni, GYTR, Yoshimura or Stock Slip-on System (or any slip-on system which uses the factory Y-pipe)! This connecting pipe enables you to replace the heavy factory Y-pipe which contains the catalytic converter. Saves weight and reduces HEAT! In some cases, depending the design of your slip ons, you may be required to slightly modify (tweak) the y-pipe or may be required to slightly cut/grind the length of the exit pipes (of the Y-pipe) for a custom fit!!! This part is guaranteed to work perfectly when used in conjunction with the Termignoni slip ons.  This part has been fitted to Yoshimura slip ons with great success!!! Fits: 2004-2006 Yamaha YZF R1 (Undertail Exhaust)! Reduces weight and increases air flow!!! Installation Note:  Smaller Diameter Mounting Clamp Required to mount base of pipe to header. Truly Hand Made August 3, 2005 Reviewer: jason wagner from ontario, CA United States   First off the reason I gave the Termi Y pipe a 4 instead of a 5 was the internal finish of the pipe. The fit was right on the money. I installed the pipe on my 2005 Yamaha R1 with Yoshi TRS slip-ons. This pipe is truly hand made, which I like except for the internal finish. Alot of welding slag and beads on the inside and a few misaligned joints. Granted this will cause no problem with the exhaust system or the bike, but it does mean you may have to spend a little prep time before the install, sanding and polishing. As for the preformance of this pipe, "Awesome" My 2D thermocouple was reporting a temp drop of approx 82 degrees. So I recommend this Y pipe 100%. Great price, the best customer service I've ever had "in terms of on-line shopping" and finally the automated tracking system "Thumbs Up" I will recommend 58cycle to all my riding partners.
