This retrofit kit for the 2004-2006 Honda CBR 1000RR Tail light includes all new LED internals for the stock tail housing. The stock LEDs are removed and replaced with a new LED board containing 52 Ultra Bright RED LEDs and 44 Ultra Bright YELLOW LEDs - compared to only 12 red LEDs on the stock circuit board. The RED LEDs are dual intensity for running light and brake light. The YELLOW LEDs blink as turn signals only.

The brightness of this unit is amazing, but on a motorcycle there's no such thing as too bright. This is the brightest tail light kit your $$$ can buy. Not only does this kit allow you to clean up the tail section of your Honda by eliminating the need for the stock blinker stalks, but it also makes a lasting impression on anyone who sees it in action.

Modification of your stock tail light is required for installation! You must rewire your tail light, brake light, and turn signals after installing the kit to the modified tail light assembly! It's a lot easier than it sounds.

Those LEDs are BRIGHT!!  You will need to have some tools (especially a dremel), glue, and sealant (it does not come with it).  I won't lie...this was a PAIN IN THE A$$ to install, but its worth it to me.  Nice and bright!!  If you aren't very good with tools or cutting plastic, make sure you get someone that is to do it for you; especially since you have to cut open your rear factory light to install the new board.
